Rental Agreement, Safety Rules & Liability Waiver

I understand that using playground and party rental equipment involves certain risks, including falls, collisions and injuries. I acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions to help prevent accidents.

All equipment must be used as intended. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Age, weight and capacity limits must be respected.

Our playground is designed for children ages 1–6, subject to each item's limits. Socks are recommended. No shoes, food, drinks, face paint or sharp objects are allowed inside the playground.

​

Children's chairs have a maximum weight limit of 75 lbs per chair.

Please help us keep our equipment clean and in good condition. The customer is responsible for damage, missing items or excessive dirt beyond normal use and standard cleaning.

​

Reasonable additional cleaning, repair or replacement costs may apply. Normal wear and tear is excluded.

Setup and takedown times must be agreed upon in advance. The customer must provide safe and reasonable access at the scheduled times.

​

Once installed, rental equipment cannot be moved, relocated, modified or taken apart without approval from Imagine Party Rentals.

A suitable indoor backup location (Plan B) is required for outdoor playground rentals. Equipment cannot be installed or used during rain, strong winds, on wet ground or in unsafe conditions.

​

Imagine Party Rentals may delay or stop setup when safety is at risk. If no suitable Plan B is available, any cancellation charges or refunds will depend on the circumstances, work already performed and applicable law.

​

A $150 refundable security deposit applies to outdoor playground rentals. It will be returned after the equipment is checked, less any reasonable charges for damage, missing items or excessive cleaning.

Imagine Party Rentals may refuse setup or stop equipment use if safety rules are not followed or conditions become unsafe.

Whenever reasonably possible, we will explain the concern and allow time to correct it. Any charges or refunds will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

Playground & Decoration Packages: A 30% reservation payment is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due by e-transfer the day before the event or in cash before setup begins.

Chairs & Tables Only: Full payment is required to reserve the equipment.

Any refundable security deposit is separate from the rental payment and will be identified in the booking confirmation.

By submitting payment, the customer acknowledges the booking terms provided before payment. The signed agreement confirms acceptance of these terms.

Playground & Decoration Packages: For voluntary cancellations before delivery, customer pickup or setup begins, a cancellation charge of 30% of the confirmed rental total, after discounts and excluding any refundable security deposit, applies. Any payment above this amount will be refunded.

Chairs & Tables Only: If cancelled before delivery or customer pickup, 70% of the rental amount will be refunded and 30% retained.

Rescheduling: For playground and decoration packages, the reservation payment may be transferred once to an available date within 3 calendar months of the original event date. If Imagine Party Rentals cannot offer an available date during that period, we will agree on an extension or refund the unused reservation payment.

Cancellation by Imagine Party Rentals: If we are unable to provide the confirmed service for reasons within our control, payments for services not provided will be refunded.

​

All cancellation and date-change requests must be submitted in writing to rentals@imaginerentals.ca. This does not limit any rights or remedies provided by Ontario law.

I understand the risks associated with using rented equipment. To the extent permitted by Ontario law, I release Imagine Party Rentals and its employees from claims for injury, loss or damage arising from the ordinary risks of participation, including ordinary negligence where such a release is legally enforceable.

This release applies only to claims I can legally waive and does not limit rights that cannot be waived by law.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.

I confirm that I have read, understood and voluntarily accepted this agreement, including the safety rules, rental conditions and cancellation terms.
